Folk bands will compete for the ”Kuyavian coronet” for the seventh time.

It is already the seventh year when Włocławek Autumn is gaining colours thanks to folk costumes from various parts of the country. All of this is due to the National Festival of Folklore Ensembles ”Kuyavian coronet” competition.

On Saturday, 21st of October, Włocławek will become the folk capital of Poland. Cultural Centre ”Brewery B.” will host more than 300 representatives of folk groups from all over Poland.

Who will compete for ”Kuyavian coronet”?

  • On the stage of Cultural Centre ”Brewery B.” we will see:
  • Folk Group ”Children of Kujawy” from Brześć Kujawski
  • Song and Dance Ensemble from BaruchowoChildren's Folk Group from Izbica Kujawska
  • Song and Dance Ensemble ”Kuyavian land” from Choceń
  • Song and Dance Ensemble ”Blichowiacy” from Łowicz
  • Folk Dance Ensemble ”Koderki” from Łowicz
  • Song and Dance Ensemble ”Rainbow” from Radzików
  • School Regional Ensemble from Bukówiec Górny
  • Folk Dance Ensemble ”The pearl of Warmia” from Lidzbark Warmiński
  • Folk Artistic Ensemble ”Promini” from Warsaw
  • Song and Dance Ensemble ”Kujawy” from Włocławek (out of competition)

 

The contest starts at 11.00

We will see a special presentation prepared for the opening of the 7th National Festival of Folklore Ensembles ”Kuyavian coronet” competition. It will be presented by the host of the event- Song and Dance Ensemble ”Kujawy”.

Announcing the results and awarding prizes at 17.00.
